Scrap management in Odoo: One of the most useful features of Odoo is that you can create Scrap at any stage of the production line. Now Click on scrap button to create instant scrap entry in inventory. You can create fresh scrap entry from. At that time you can fill the following details and click on Done button it will be inserted into inventory automatically.
First of all, you have to install that module in your database, after installing another routing option (manufacture) is added in the product form.
To unbuild a product:
Another useful feature in Manufacturing is Unbuild. You can unbuild the products into its bill of materials. It is the reverse process of production.
Go to Manufacturing > Operations > Unbuild Orders > and click on Create button.
While creating a new one, you can either select a Manufacturing Order. Now you can fill the following fields: product, Bill of Material, Quantity, Manufacturing Order, Location, Destination Location, etc.
>> Select the product which needs to Unbuild, select the bill of materials and
>>Whenever you need to specify a particular Manufacturing Order you can mention it. Now click on Done button and Save, so that the individual components will be updated in the inventory.

A subassembly or semi-finished product is a part of a manufactured product which is designed to be used as a component of another manufactured product. Now sub-assemblies is used to simplify a complex BoM to more accurately simple BoM. or to use the same subassembly in multiple BoMs. A BoM that handles subassemblies is often referred to as a multi-level BoM.
Now you can use multi-level bills of materials in Odoo by creating a top-level BoM and subassembly BoMs. Next, the subassembly product is defined as the procurement route. This assures that at the same time manufacturing order for the top-level product is created, a manufacturing order for each subassembly is created as well.
Configure a top-level product bill of materials
First of all. you can configure a multi-level BoM, at that time you create the top-level product and its BoM. Include any subassemblies in the list of components. Create a BoM for each subassembly as you would for any product.
Configure the Subassembly Product Data
At the product form of the subassembly, you must choose the routes Manufacture and Make To Order. The Manufacture route takes precedence over the Buy route, so selecting the recent will have no effect.
